The Plough   45 min trip to Jesus Lock  9.30am 

Jesus Lock 45 min round trips   11am  & 12 noon

Jesus Lock  45 min round trips  1.15pm  2.10pm  3.05pm  4pm

Jesus Lock to The Plough  45 min one-way    5pm

The Plough  30 min round trip 6pm

Or make a day of it and park at The Plough, - go into the city on the 9.30am, then return from the city at Jesus Lock on the 5pm trip, just in time for supper at the pub!

45 minute round-trip cruises - Jesus Lock

From Jesus Green Lock – Route goes downstream past the historic college boathouses, Midsummer Common and Riverside. Check above for daily updates of exact times and days. Subject to availability, pre-booking available up to 7 days in advance. 

30 minute round-trip cruises - The Plough

From The Plough Fen Ditton – Route goes downstream along the rowing race 'bumps' part of the river and the A14 bridge, or upstream towards Chesterton and the railway bridge.  Check above for daily updates of exact times and days. Subject to availability, pre-booking sometimes available up to 4 days in advance. 

45 minute round-trip cruises - The Plough

Slightly longer version of the above trips. From The Plough Fen Ditton – Route goes downstream along the rowing race 'bumps' part of the river to Baits Bite Lock, or upstream towards Chesterton and Stourbridge Common.  Check above for daily updates of exact times and days. Subject to availability, pre-booking sometimes available up to 4 days in advance. 

45 minute one-way cruises - Jesus Lock or The Plough 

From Jesus Green Lock or The Plough Fen Ditton – Route goes past the historic college boathouses, Midsummer Common and Riverside, then out past Chesterton and Ditton Meadows. Bolt together any of the one-way trips either into the city for shopping or out to The Plough for a drink or meal. Subject to availability, pre-booking available up to 7 days in advance. 

1½ hour - 2 hour round-trip/split trip cruises

From Jesus Green Lock or The Plough Fen Ditton – Route goes downstream past the historic college boathouses, Midsummer Common and Riverside, then out past Chesterton and Ditton Meadows. Bolt together any combination of the one-way trips either into the city for shopping or out to The Plough for a drink/meal.

  Cambridge City Shopping/Sight-Seeing Park & Cruise

 9.30am  and 1.15pm (usually weekends and some weekdays)

From The Plough Fen Ditton to Cambridge City Centre – Route covers Ditton Meadows, Stourbridge Common, Chesterton, Riverside, past the historic college boathouses, Midsummer Common to Jesus Lock. From close to Cambridge City Centre at Jesus Lock – Route covers Ditton Meadows, Stourbridge Common, Chesterton, Riverside, past the historic college boathouses, Midsummer Common and Jesus Green. Subject to availability, pre-booking essential to avoid disappointment, limited places.  To book a table at the village pub call direct 01223 293264.  Alternativley, if ordered in advance, we can have select items from the pub menu served aboard for the return leg of the trip at 1.15pm

Extended City and Shire Cruise

Cambridge to Ely or Ely to Cambridge. Approx 4.5 hour trip one way, advance booking required.

Departs Cambridge 9am from The Plough, Fen Ditton (other start points available), arriving Ely approx 2pm.

Ely to Cambridge Departs 2pm to arrive Cambridge at The Plough Fen Ditton 7pm approx.

Beautiful scenic route  

Price includes Tea/Coffee and Cream Tea (Fresh Cream Cake/Scone).
