The session is ideal for anyone thinking about a cruise/holiday in a boat, or potential boat purchase

The taster assumes no prior knowledge and so is ideal for the first timer, so if you fancy a week or two on a boating holiday but want to check if you can handle a boat, make the boating experience safer and more enjoyable.  You will learn basic boat handling skills, rope and knot work, navigational safety and how to work locks.  Price includes hot drinks.

RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman certificate. 

2 day course £185 per person per day

This course is designed for anyone wanting to cruise the UK's and Europe's network of lakes, rivers and canals. It deals specifically with the requirements of the inland boater, be that a narrow boat or cruiser. The course assumes no prior knowledge and so is ideal for the first timer, however the more seasoned boater will still learn plenty of tips and tricks of the trade to make their boating safer and more enjoyable. The course take places over at least 6 hours and can be taken either on our boat or your own. The minimum age to take this course is 16 years old. The instructor is a time-served RYA approved trainer. 

RYA Inland Waterways Crew Certificate. 

1 day course £170 per person per day

This course is designed for anyone wanting to cruise the UK's and Europe's network of lakes, rivers and canals. It deals specifically with the requirements of the inland boater, be that a narrow boat or cruiser. The course assumes no prior knowledge and so is ideal for the first timer, however the more seasoned boater will still learn plenty of tips and tricks of the trade to make their boating safer and more enjoyable. RYA Inland Waterway Helmsman Assessment. 

1 day Assessment £200 per person per day

This is purely an assessment day - no training input. The assessment is based on the delegate having previously undertaken the RYA syllabus training, and thus the delegate has acquires all of the relevant skills and knowledge at previous training days and is able to pass the assessment  The minimum age to to be assessed is 16 years old. The assessor is a time-served RYA approved trainer.
