ABOUT CAMBOATS – A family firm since 2004
The concept of Camboats was developed back in 2003 by Liz. She went about searching for a boat to be suitable for running passenger trips on the River Cam in Cambridge. She found ‘Rosie’ up for sale and spent time getting her refurbished and repainted. At the same time jumping through the various registration and training requirements. The first trips started in the Spring of 2004. The business grew steadily during the next eight years. Peter then took over as Skipper in 2013. Since then the business has continued to grow, with the addition of ‘Princess Charlotte’ a modern Catamaran in 2019 and another flat deck pontoon boat ‘Sundeck’ in 2024.
