VACANCIES – Working with the Camboats team
We do have vacancies from time to time for skippers and crew.
Ideally you will have the R.Y.A. Inland Waterways Helmsman or Crew certificates – or something similar. (For the right candidate training and certification can be provided).
Interested in joining Camboats as Helmsman or Crew?
- Helmsman roles are part-time casual, subject to the number of bookings. i.e. we only need skippers when a trip is booked. Minimum 1.5 hours, up to a whole day. You must be flexible to ideally be available to run trips daytime and/or evenings, weekday and/or weekends.
- Vacancies for pool of ‘crew’ are also needed on a casual basis. The main part of the role crew is assisting passengers with food and drink, along with the ability to answer questions about the river and the various locations along the trip route. Also some help in handling the boat during mooring/departures. (Training provided).
- Both of these roles can easily be worked around other commitments. Ideally based close to The Plough Fen Ditton, or Jesus Lock on Jesus Green. Cambridge.
